Celebrate
This is the good part of the story. Canadians stepped forward to help, because that's what we do. Service Day is when we stop and notice it.
Honour
Thank someone who shows up for other people. A nurse, a police officer, a neighbour who checks in. Say it out loud, write it down, or buy them a coffee.
Serve
Do something for someone who won't know it was you. Volunteer. Give blood. Sign up for a charity event in your community. Donate to a cause you care about.
